Dr. Axel Rauchmayer, Software Engineering Teacher of the Year 2015

Last year debuted the Teacher of the Year Award.

I selected 5 candidates and there were two rounds of voting.

After a close run contest and many votes, the Software Engineering Teacher of the Year 2015 Award went to Dr Axel Rauchmayer.

Great though this event was, this year my aim is to make this award even bigger and better, with two awards:

1. Frontendgineer of the Year 2016

2. Backendgineer of the Year 2016

This year, I want this to be entirely down to you. I will not be selecting any candidates. I would like you to nominate any deserving software engineers for the award. You can nominate yourself, if you wish, for either category.

The only restriction is you cannot nominate anyone for both categories. I know that there are many very talented full stack developers around, but consider whether the value that they have given you relates more to front end, or back end development.
