My guest post SMARTER Goals and Valued Living was published on Coding With Empathy a couple of weeks ago, and in this article I share the most valuable lessons that I have learned this year.
If you missed it, I recommend taking a look. It’s a long article, so if you are short on time you can scroll down to the final lesson on Valued Living.
This is one of the most important things that I have learned in my life. I have begun to hold onto my goals more lightly (e.g. Abandoning the Pluralsight Learning Challenge) and become more conscious of my values at all times.
I am not pushing myself so hard anymore, but I seem to be achieving as much or more as before because, in terms of doing what’s most important to me, I am progressing towards being more effective.
